Jack is a Senior Lawyer in the Corporate, Commercial and Property team in the Newcastle office.
He has a wide range of experience in property law and a passion for assisting clients in navigating complex problems pragmatically with solution based and plain English advice. Jack has a unique understanding of the Newcastle and Hunter property market having worked on a large number of residential, industrial and commercial developments in the region.
Jack’s extensive experience includes residential conveyancing, commercial sales and acquisitions of motels, boarding houses, mobile villages and off the plan developments. Jack is also experienced in assisting people with Self-managed Superannuation Funds navigate complexities surrounding purchases and sales of real property and the stamp duty implications of such transactions. Aside from sales and acquisitions of real property, Jack has experience with commercial and retail leasing, advice on extinguishment and establishment of easements, rectification of title matters for various government entities and lodgement of various land dealings with the NSW Land Registry Services via PEXA.
Jack previously worked at a specialised corporate and commercial law firm in Newcastle where he further developed his understanding and expertise of commercial drivers and factors that tie into property transactions. He completed his Bachelor of Laws (Honours)/Diploma of Legal Practice at the University of Newcastle in 2021 and graduated with first class honours. He was subsequently admitted to legal practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2022. In addition to his legal education, Jack has a Bachelor of Commerce (Distinction) with a major in accounting, which further strengthens his ability to provide practical and commercial legal advice.
In his spare time, Jack enjoys playing basketball, watching a new movie or television series and spending time with family and friends.
